2021 Toyota Sequoia

Let the full-size adventures begin.

With family adventure in mind, the Toyota Sequoia took its name from California’s massive, majestic redwood trees.  Last year, the Sequoia leaned into this theme even more with the first-ever TRD Pro Model.  This year, the new 2021 Sequoia adds another layer of style with the introduction of the Nightshade Edition.  As we enter 2021, the new Sequoia stands as tall as its namesake and is prepared for whatever full-size adventure you dream up.

The 2021 Sequoia packs all of the upgrades from last year’s model.  Android Auto, Amazon Alexa and Apple CarPlay compatibility are standard, as is push-button start.  It still boasts its sturdy body-on-frame construction and four-wheel independent suspension.  With seating up to eight (seven in TRD Sport, TRD Pro and Limited) there is room for the family and more.  The TRD Pro introduced in 2020 is back, and features: 

• Fox aluminum-bodied internal bypass shocks
• Standard Multi-Mode 4WD
• TRD front skid plate helps protect the front suspension and oil pan during trail driving
• Cast aluminum running boards and a roof rack

New to the 2021 Sequoia is the Nightshade Edition.  Built on the luxurious Limited grade, the Sequoia Nightshade has black leather-trim seating and a black exterior trim that gives it a slightly sinister appearance.  A darkened chrome grille, black mirror caps and black door handles add to this feel.  Darkened chrome Sequoia badging, body moldings and lower grille and fog light surrounds finish off the Nightshade accents.  The exterior color is available in:

• Midnight Black Metallic
• Magnetic Gray Metallic
• Blizzard Pearl
