What is the process of reserving a New Toyota?
At Toyota of New Bern, we have a specialized team who can work with you over the phone, through your internet inquiry, or even in person to reserve your Toyota! Our reservation process starts with reviewing our already in-bound inventory for your selected Toyota model which can be better reviewed in person to ensure that vehicle has all your desired specifications. If our already in-bound inventory does not have what you are searching for, a team member can assist you with placing a custom order.
How long will it take to have my vehicle delivered?
During the reservation process we typically look at our already in-transit inventory which will greatly reduce your wait time however if you do opt for a custom order, that wait time varies based on the production timeline. Your team at Toyota of New Bern is happy to provide you with all the information available to us in order to help establish that realistic time frame.
Is there an extra cost for ordering a vehicle?
No, if you are looking to reserve your Toyota, the options and packages chosen will affect your total vehicle cost or any additional aftermarket add-ons but there is no additional charge to place the order. You will need to put down a deposit which is required for custom ordered Toyotas. This will then be deducted from the purchase price at the time of final purchase.
Is ordering a vehicle more expensive than buying one on the lot?
No, whether you reserve an in-transit new Toyota or custom ordering your vehicle, your team at Toyota of New Bern will make sure all available rebate options are applied at the time of purchase! Toyota typically changes their programs monthly, so rebates and incentives can only be deducted from the purchase price in the month the vehicle is delivered.
How will I be notified when my vehicle is being delivered?
When your vehicle is in transit to the dealership, the sales manager will reach out to you in your preferred method of communication (text, phone call, or email) to establish a day and time to deliver the vehicle to you and finalize the purchase process.
Can I lock in my rate and payment at the same time?
With the Toyota rebates and incentives program adjusting each month, you cannot lock in a rate or payment at the time of order or reservation. Typically these offers don’t drastically change so your team at Toyota of New Bern can provide you with a rough estimate prior to your delivery date.
Can I trade in my current vehicle when I order or reserve a new one?
With the current timeline to reserve your Toyota and the time frame for in-transit vehicles, a rough estimate can be provided however the finalized value of your trade will be provided at the time of purchase.
What if I change my mind?
You can absolutely change your mind from the time of order to the time of purchase and receive the full value of your deposit in return! At Toyota of New Bern, our goal is to make this process as easy as possible for you and your family!
