Behind the wheel of the 2022 Avalon you'll feel a rush with every step on the pedal. The 3.5-liter V6 engine unleashes 301 hp while still maintaining efficiency with an impressive 32mpg highway rating! Keeping you connected, the 2022 Avalon comes standard with both Apple CarPlay and  Android Auto compatibility as well as an available Qi-compatible wireless smartphone charging station.  Style is not lost on any of the Avalon's in the lineup, but the Touring model takes things a step further with a style of its own. It features gloss-black accents, a sport mesh front grille and signature lighting with sequential turn signals that add to its premium feel. 

For 2022 the Avalon and Avalon Hybrid will be offered in 6 different models starting with the XLE and XLE Hybrid, followed by the Touring, Limited and Limited Hybrid. The XSE Hybrid Nightshade edition features a sport tuned suspension, 19-in black-painted alloy wheels, gloss-black grille with sport mesh insert, a gloss black rear spoiler, power moonroof, paddle shifters and aluminum pedal covers. The 2022 Avalon XSE Hybrid Nightshade edition will have three distinct color options, not available on other trims:

• Wind Chill Pearl
• Celestial Silver Metallic 
• Midnight Black Metallic

The Avalon Hybrid enters its tenth year with the 2022 model.  The Avalon Hybrid boasts an EPA-estimated 44 combined MPG and features a Lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery pack backed by a 10 year / 150,000 mile warranty.  Added in 2021 and carried over for 2022 the Avalon is equipped with a Vehicle Approach Noise system which is designed to help alert pedestrians when the car is at low speeds. The Avalon Hybrid's unmistakable front grille is about more than just good looks, it features an integrated grille shutter that automatically opens and closes to help optimize the amount of air flowing in for better aerodynamics and engine efficiency.

All Avalon models come standard with the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ suite of active safety systems.  Included in TSS-2.5+ are Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Full-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Automatic High Beams, Road Sign Assist and Lane Tracing Assist.  Additional safety features are available:
